Very wierd rash abounds!

I need some advice. I've developed this really wierd rash in the last couple of days, its on the left side of my chest, back, thigh and on the back of my right arm. I've had discoid since the beginning but never have I experienced anything like this, they've got that silver flaky thing going on like the discoid on my face and ears, but these are painful, raised and red on the outer edges, and itch a lot; its not shingles the derm seems to think there's something systemically going on, gee really duh.... I wonder if anyone has had something like this? this is new from all the other stuff that goes on, fever, pain, digestive problems, respitory, and so on too much to mention. I am currently not taking any meds, I've not been outdoors, or been in contact with anything out of the ordinary. If anyone else has experienced this I'd love to hear what you did to make it a little better and tolerable this is driving me crazy.

After having a rash for almost one year on my face, arms, neck and some places on my stomach my doctor put me on plaqunil and after about a week or so my rash is 95% gone. Of coarse I stay out of the sun too because that will cause it to come back in full force. It has been the only thing that has worked for me.

I have recently had a rash unlike any in the past. I think it may have been from having the pest control spray part of our home. The docs first thought shingles or herpes but it was not that. Then my dermatologist said it was perhaps contact dermatitis from mattress covers from China...they treat the covers with a fungicide that is causing lots of skin problems.

I started prednisone for this rash for 3 days and it is starting to clear. At least it does not burn now. I think it is

a photosensitive reaction...as the cotton cover I was wearing was thin and I may have gotten a little sun while in the

car...windows are tinted and I put a window shield around me...but some may have gotten under it as I fell asleep for about 10 minutes. Hope you are better soon. I made a paste of corn starch and water on a paper towel and put it in a baggy

in the ref rig...putting the cool paste on gave some relief and also put the paper towel on the area to cool. Hope you are well soon.
