My chest has developed a brown patch which is getting bigger and darker. It's my upper chest smack in the middle right under my neck. It's flat, not scaly or flakey, and it does not itch. Anyone else have anything like this? Is this lupus related or something else?
I do have this in several places now. I don't know if is lupus related or not because I have never had a doctor that knows more about lupus then what I do. No, I am not joking. I also have Sjorgren's Syndrome and I never know what is causing anything happening to my body. When I ask my doctor or former doctors the answer is it could be either one. Sorry, I am no help but at least you are not alone it having these spots.
I did have something that sounds the same on my face which was caused from the estrogen patch. Now that I am off it it has disappeared. The sun can also cause dark patches. I would ask your doc next time you have an appt.
