Cayleigh,

Please let your doctor know of these symptom asap. Lupus can attack the Central Nervous System which can cause Lupus Psychosis. I posted about an experience just after my diagnosis, although my husband said it had been occurring for over a year, when I was so bad I actually had a conversation with my brother-in-law, who was not there. Lupus "fog" is one thing, but when you start having visual and cognitive issues that needs immediate attention. It can be helped with treatment, but if left unchecked can lead to permanent cognitive impairment. That is just one possibility, but you really need to have it checked. Just recently another member mentioned forgetting where she was while driving to work.

If these are just the things you are noticing, much more could be occurring but you aren't realizing it. For your health and safety it needs to be addressed sooner rather than later.

Hugs and health,

DeAnne

Sounds like lupus is attacking your central nervous system. Talk to your Dr.

I’m getting an appointment tomorrow hopefully ill let you know how it goes

I was

Hope all is going well, make sure Dr is aware of ALL medications you are taking, this includes over the counter and herbals. To many people forget to mention herbals, but they can interfere with prescriptions and cause odd side effects.

I’ve got a doctors appointment today so hopefully something will be done about my strange symptoms… I don’t take any herbal remedies so it couldn’t be side effects of interactions or anything… I’m seeing the doctor who doesn’t really listen to me so I’m skeptical about him actually doing anything :frowning: :frowning:

Oh boy! Call your doc. Ask to refer you to a neurologist as soon as possible?? We sometimes have break downs mentally, and don’t realize it, which cause depression to set in, sending out my prayers to you…Beverly L.
