Over the past few days I’ve had a nasty taste in my mouth and at the back of my nose if that makes sense… It’s a sort of chemical taste and over the days I’ve been feeling worse and worse with weakness and fatigue and slight back ache and it hurts on my right side when I press it… I keep feeling hot and cold and have the sweats but not sure if I’ve got a temperature and I’ve started to come out in my rash again on my body… What is going on?? I’m still on my steroids 10mg a day and plaquenil so I thought I wouldn’t get a flare… Help 
I went to the docs and they said its a uti and I’ve got thrush in my mouth… I should start feeling better in a few days 
I really hope so because I feel awful right now

Hi, I hope you feel better soon. I've had both issues and they are not fun. You will also want to watch the antibiotic you are taking for the uti, it can add to the thrush problem. Just make sure you take all your meds. :)

My husband eats yogurt to counteract thrush. He gets it frequently due to his inhalers for asthma. Get well soon!
they diddnt give me any antibiotics for the uti they said i can get rid of it with cranberry juice and drinking lots of water but today my back hurts so bad and i feel really sick and ive got a temperature ... i feel really generally ill and i have really bad fatigue so bad that i keep falling asleep by accident... what should i do??
ill have to wait untill tomorrow to ring my doctor as they arent open now... ill go to er if it gets too bad tonight i think because i dont want this getting too bad i dont want my kidneys to be damaged because i left it... thanks for the help
If you have an existing UTI, your doctor should have obtained a urine sample and cultured it to see what bacteria is causing the infection (usually E.Coli). You also should have been placed on an antibiotic. Cranberry juice is a preventative measure, not a cure! I don't mean to scare you, but UTIs can travel into the bladder, the ureters, and kidneys. If it's not treated with the right antibiotic (usually placed on a broad spectrum), the inflammation from the infection can cause scar tissue to form and obstruct your normal urine flow. Please go get an antibiotic as soon as you can. Since a culture and sensitivity test (find out what bacteria it is and what antibiotic will kill it... it's a fun test to do in the lab) can take up to 72 hours, they usually place you on a broad spectrum antibiotic and will call you if that antibiotic doesn't work for the specific organism causing your infection. Usually the broad spectrum does the trick though. Please please please try and get an antibiotic today.
Hello, try to relax!!! Maybe you are having a Flare and stressing will not help. I know it is hard to do, but try!! Call your doctor office and make a appointment as soon as possible. Maybe the doctor need to go down on the mg of your meds. Hope you feel better soon…Beverly L.
Ok I ended up in hospital on a drip and antibiotics and I’m out now but I’m allergic to the antibiotics and had to stop them!! I seem to be allergic to every antibiotic I’ve had… I’m ringing the doctors again tomorrow but untill then I’m drinking lots of water and cranberry juice and I might go to the pharmacist and see if there’s an alternative to antibiotics because they are making me feel so ill… I’m hoping they’ve managed to get into my system enough already to have gotten rid of the infection
