What's the One Thing That Helps to Make Your Day Easier?

A lighter vacuum cleaner?
A crock pot?
A housekeeper?
A jet/bubblebath?
Prayer?

My loving husband

Keeps me connected to family & friends

Comfortable office chair I use in the kitchen to scoot around to get things done

OK....I quickly read the discussion topic and did not see ONE! Oops, I don't know how to removed my post to do it correctly. So sorry! Faye

A bed to lay in cause I'm so tired all of the time!

Lori

Smiles, and yess definatly a bed, music, anything to help relax.

Prayer. What about you Athena?

Don’t be sorry Faye. Loved ur answer!!! One thing I would add to ur list is my electric heated throw blanket. Covers more area than a heating pad and is softer too!! Plus all items on Faye’s list!!!

My Faith

I could not make it through the day without it.

Faye, I love your answers!

Trisha

My kitchen scissors with serrated interior blades. A few years ago my mother-in-law showed me I could use that inner portion of the scissors to twist off all kids of caps off of bottles, jars etc. When you have the joint and muscle pains we have it's a godsend! I guess I am thankful for my mother-in-law too! :-)

Faye, like you, I do have more than one… BUT… My go-to comfort, when I’m at home, is my pet doxie, Bevo. Petting him and spending some snuggle time, lowers my BP, raises my endorphines, helps with the pain, etc. he is a little gift from God.

I am going to break my own rule and add one more. My Bissel upright. It is basically a dustbuster, but is tall like a broom. It is much lighter and easier on your body than sweeping or lugging the heavy vacuum around to do the hard surfaces if you don’t have to. Plus, it is a good, easy chore to give my 3rd grader!

These are all great! Keep sharing.

Mechelle, I absolutely agree!

Yes, thank you, God, for a comfortable bed.

A cleaning service, a husband who loves to cook, laughing every day as I play with- and hug my foster kittens.

Beautiful answer!

what really helps to make my day faster is when my boys choose to help me and hang out with me instead of arguing and making messes of things!! I have an awesome support system and they help to keep me focused on the things that are good and joyous in my life and remind me that dwelling on the bad things or the things that bring me down are not worth worrying about and not to let those things or times control my life or shake my faith!
