DO YOU REACT BADLY TO MSG? (monosodium glutamate) WARNING!!
It is being hidden in products under different names. Just got back from the Asian food store and the owner knows me and likes me and knows my health problems so she showed me various packages with different names for MSG. So here are the few I found about today, there may be more. Look on your labels for "Hydrolized Vegetable Protein", (HVP), E621, E627, E631.
Hello Sheila,
"Nice one"....as there's so many substances that can affect we one way or another.

Thanks Sheila,
MSG is definitely one of my enemies! I really appreciate this information. Actually I stay away from Asian restaurants for fear of running into a surprise. I have encountered some that are up front and make it clear they do not have it in their food. I am going to post these on the door of my pantry.
Thanks again,
Faye
WOW THANKS AGAIN ANN, SUCH GREAT INFO!!
Sheila
Ann,
Well that's a jaw dropper Ann! Thanks for the heads up. So Carageenen is another additive that probably has MSG. So sad that we are reduced to being scientists to even know what we can eat. It seems like NO food is safe anymore, so it's literally "Pick your poison". No wonder I hate grocery shopping. I have to study every label, and even then, there are hidden ingredients they don't mention! I guess it's a matter of trial and error, and we have to take note of which foods we react to. It's just so tiring to have to have a reaction again and again like a guinea pig.
True Ann. That's how our diet would be in the perfect situation, but I sure don't have the perfect situation.
