Does the zofran make you sleepy? Last time I was in the hospital, my primary care doc sent me home with a presciption for zofran and it helps, but tends to make me sleepy. I've also tried Phenergan for the nausea and it helps, but also makes me sleepy. I think I may have developed some ulcers, but not sure if it is a direct effect of meds or the Lupus itself...or something else, all together. Thank you! Hope you find some relief, too! :)

I am always nauseated!!! I have to take zofran anytime I eat and if its a spicy or really heavy meal I am big trouble without it. When I was first diagnosed they had done and EGD and found two ulcers they did treat those and it became a little easier to eat. Now the past two weeks I haven't eaten but a few bites and instantly it hits my stomach I am sick. My primary things they are back again. Hope you can find out the cause for your symptoms!!

Yes. I have periods of serious nausea and pain where I can only eat liquids. Thank goodness for my nutri bullet! It was finally figured out while in hospital for other problems. CT scan showed inflammation all around the liver capsule (serositis). At the time I was told I had multi organ serositis. The nausea gradually got better with high doses of prednisone.

You are not a hypochondriac, prior to my dx of lupus, been to gastroenterologist on seversl occasions for heartburn and stomach pain. Did procedures of endoscopy & colonoscopy. Diagnosed with Gerd, had biopsy on polyps. Yes it gets worser during menstral cycle and stress. To get relief, I mix baking soda and water and when I have a flare up I drink aloe.

Thank you Amber!
