The Tampa, FL, "Walk to End Lupus Now" was rockin'

I made it! I finished the walk! I have never been so proud of my family, friends and Dave's (my fiance) co-workers. We raised $1000 for the walk, and raised more awareness for the cause. My son, Benjamin, wore his ribbon and purple bracelet to school on Monday. He gave his bracelet to his best friend at school. This is a memory to keep me going on the pain days.

Congrats! That's awesome you guys were able to raise so much money and awareness.

The people there were so great! I have never seen so much purple in my life! Of course I slept all day Monday, but it was worth it. I can't wait until next year...

Blessings,

Shelly

Am happy that you were able to finish the walk!!! I can remember my first walk(I was only able to do only half , my first walk), but this second walk was mine all the way ! Alot of my family went with me , and that is what gave me strength to finish, they really helped me with all of the support. Glad that you did it for ,"living with Lupus…Beverly L.
