I have tried a couple different brands of suncreen but I end up sweating more and feeling hotter. Do you have a suggestion for a better sunblock?
Hey Aly! First, I would just like to welcome you to the Life With Lupus community! You'll definitely find a lot of supportive and informative people here considering you were recently diagnosed. And the brand of sunscreen that I have been using for years now is Nutrogena. So if you haven't given that a go yet, I recommend it. What kinds have you tried so far, if you don't mind me asking?

I’ve tried topcare and banana boat.
I’m so used to tanning right away and not burning so it will be an adjustment for me to remember sunscreen everyday. I will give nutrogena a go, thank you
::nods:: I use Neutrogena Ultra Sheer body mist. It's a spray, so it goes on light, doesn't smell like a pool, and covers well without a lot of goop. I'm not really a fan of sunscreen as a whole, but this stuff doesn't bother me at all. I still use the lotion (same brand and type) on my face though.
lol, I can definitely relate to you with the whole tanning and burning thing. You're welcome!
I have to agree with sing Nutrogena Ultra Sheer body mist & face lotion.
It's the only one I've found that doesn't make my face break out
Sorry but this is new to me, lot to learn. Is sun a no no,with lupus
Jan, post a discussion on this, or type "sun" in the search box at the upper right, and see what comes up.
Thank you for making this post, because I was wondering the same thing. I've never used sunscreen before and have no clue which to use but I always hear from people how greasy it is. Thanks for the tip of the Neutrogena spray. I will by trying that this time. I learned my lesson from last summer with the horrible rashes I got. I hope for nothing but wellness for everyone this summer.
I Use Neutrogena ultra sheer dry tough spf 100.
