So obviously I should be using large quantities of sunscreen and I mostly hate how the stuff smells and have really sensitive and very dry skin. What sunscreens do people like? Where do you get them without spending a fortune on them?
HI Lynn,
I buy Aveno sunscreen for my grandsons, they have Psoriasis, I also use their soap and creams on them, they do not irritate.
Hope this helps!

Hi. I asked my brother to get me BabyGanics face & body with SPF 50+. I read about the product’s ingredients and it’s one of the safest to use. I checked with http://breakingnews.ewg.org/2012sunscreen/ Very useful. Since we have to apply sunscreen everyday, we have to make sure it’s safe because daily application with harmful ingredients can cause the big C. We don’t like that. Just a thought…
I hadn't thought about toxicity of sunscreen. Ugh. How expensive is BabyGanics? I'm worried about how much sunscreen I have to use and the cost. I also usually really dislike the smell and have very sensitive skin.

I use babyfaces by Hawaiian tropic depending on the size it runs from 2.99 up I really like the spray on version since I dont have to get my hands all sticky. I get it at wallmart which usually has the best prices.
Uh, i think it’s more expensive. Last i checked with amazon it was 12.99. I’m also concern with how much it costs. You can use the link i sent you to check the ingredients of the product you’re using. I just thought that since i’m going to use it everyday, it has to be safe. There’s a lot of difference when we’re just using the sunscreen when we go to the beach which is not everyday, but it will be daily, our skin will be absorbing whatever’s in it every single day. Maybe that’s just me, but that bothers me… a lot. That’s just my opinion though.
Hello Lynn,
I use Nivea at the moment on my face for dry skin having psoriasis with DLE and it helps to a certain extent while i'm taking plaquenil but when the sun does appear here and i go anywere with my hubby as i can't sit out in it as i fry then i use Wilko Suncare SPF 50 high, moisturising sun lotion....dermatology approved for braod spectrum on UVA/UVB protection.
