Has anyone had these? I was diagnosed with Lupus and Gout 3 weeks ago. I start the infusions Tuesday for 3 weeks, 1x week, 3 hours.
Hi yes I’ve had these they made me feel chilly and sickly but I did feel less tight over my shoulders and back but nothing else good luck with them if you can manage them I suppose anythings worth trying to help with symptoms take care xxxxx
I have had numerous Ivs. I do 1000mg everyday for 3 days in a row. They use to help a lot and it’s less weight gain than high steriods daily. I’ve been doing for 25 years.
Make sure they keep checking your liver studies and bone density. Steroids work some wonders but they should tell you all of the side effects up front. Make sure you google the trusted web sites for that information as well. Knowledge is power!!!
Hello. Yes, like the others, I have had a series of Solu Medrol infusions numerous times. It is not uncommon for patients that are 'flaring' to require these infusions as they are effective in lowering inflammation, specifically. I am praying that these solu medrol infusions work for you and bring your illness under control. Bless you!
I think the doctor was thinking of the weight gain (I am morbidly obese).
