sick&tired of being sick&tired.frustrated. not even solid diagnosis yet.can finally make appts 2day for derm, hemo, reumy . don't want to-don't feel like it.swollen, scabbed, in pain....haven't begun & ready to quit...happy bday to me

I was there just last week. Unfortunately the world doesn't stop when we have a bad day. I was having just the same week last week. Felt terrible, cancelled doc apt, (not good for you) btw. I know it may not seem like it now, but starting your meds will make you feel better. Remember you didn't get sick overnight, it won't stabilize or get better overnight. But it will. You need to see your doc...please.
There is probably not one of the 2000 members of this site that doesn't want to quit at least once a week. We are here for you. If you don't quit, we won't quit you.

Thank you all so much! I shared these responses with my kids. Hearing me choke up reading ann a & sshooby , with 25 & 46 yrs of Lupus, one of my, almost 13yr old twin boys(the “tough” one)… “Got” where my tears were from…afyer reading everyones words… He smiled & said " LIVING for 25 & 46 YEARS w/lupus! & they really all understand how flares feel. They’re all right too… Once the doctors all get what they need. You can start treating your flares & they wont be as bad. We just have to get through this part. & 2000 just this site is alot of support!" OUR tears & OUR getting chocked up is because OUR biggest fear is me dying from this & only having a handful of years left. Thanks for everyone sharing your strength & encouragement. I will give it back because you reminded me that lots of goid days are to be had!!! This IS a HAPPY birthday. And i hv many more to look forward to!!
Happy Birthday, and here's to many more! As so many have already said, we all get to that point. I cannot TELL you how many times I have said exactly that...I am sick and tired of being sick and tired! This is a great place to "lose it". There are no judgments, because everyone here has been where you are. Chin up. Sounds like you have some pretty smart kids! Keep up the fight. It's gonna be worth it!
Happy Birthday....I know this really sucks a lot and is a total pain in the butt going to all those appointments. Know that there are others who understand and are rooting for you.
