Ok so as most of you know I have SLE. I woke up yesterday morning feeling pretty good. So I decided I would do my nails and toe nails. I was sitting in my bed filing my finger nails then the next thing I know im waking up with someone standing over me screaming at me. I remember opening my eyes and I was severely confused, I couldn't figure out what was going on. I didn't know who it was standing over me for a few seconds, I finally realized it was my grandmas friend that lives next door with her. She was scared to death. After a couple minutes some of the confusion got a little better, I knew were I was. But I stayed in a confused weird feeling state for at least an hour after the incident. My grandmas friend said my daughter answered the door and told her mommy was sleeping really hard an she couldn't wake me up. She said when she walked in my room she was calling my name trying to wake me up, when I didn't respond she came closer an started shaking me and screaming my name. She said my head was just about hanging of the bed pulled real far back and she said I looked dead and when I finally came to an opened my eyes she said my eyes were huge and I was pale and didn't look right. She said I was there but wasn't there.. This scared me a lot. I stayed sleeping all day yesterday since it happened . I couldn't keep myself awake. I woke up at 4 am this morning and I've been keeping myself awake since, so I guess its finally passed whatever it was. Also my legs are super sore specially my left one. Ha anyone else experienced anything like this before? If so what in the world is it?

You need to see your doctor- pronto You should have gone to the emergency room last night This could have been a seizure or passing out for another reason but can only be handled by medical professionals
I think you should seek medical advice immediately.
You should have gone to hospital it sounds like a seizure or something… It’s very important that you get medical advice as soon as possible so they can start running tests… Hope you get sorted it sounds really scary… When my mum has a fit with epilepsy she gets confused when she wakes up
You really should see your rheumatologist and explain to her what happened. Here’s a link about CNS involvement in lupus.

I passed out 3.5 wk ago. Was standing at the time and fell breaking my leg just above my ankle. I tried hopping to the car and passed out again. Hubby had to carry me. At hospital, they found out my potassium was really low. I was very exhausted after and had trouble speaking coherently. I now know what the warning signs are. If you have gastric symptoms then absorption would be off and you could be lacking needed minerals and electrolytes. Definitely go to the doctor.
I agree that it sounds like a seizure. Sore legs could be from muscular contraction. You need to see a Dr right away.
I agree you need to BE SEEN RIGHT AWAY AND EVALUATED. I don't care that tomorrow is a holiday, or who you might need to rattle a bit, but be seen now. Someone else needs to drive you or go by - sheesh I so dislike this - go by ambulance. This could have been anything from a TIA to a seizure.
When you are able, please let us know what you find out, and that you are getting the help you need. You have to take good care of yourself if not for your sake, then for your daughter's. If money is an issue, go to an ER that gets federal funds, and they are not allowed to turn you away.
Hi!, hope that you are feeling better now? Make a appointment with your doctor as soon as possible! You might have had a serizure??? This sound scarey, and your child was there trying to wake you up , yes call the doctor and see if you can get a appointment quick. You don’t want this to happen again and it turn out more serious. Prayers go out to you…Beverly L.
Ditto to all the responses that say see a doctor IMMEDIATELY!
