So my doc. Just started me on mobic. I was wondering has anyone else taken it? And if it helped you at all?
I’ve been on it for about 18 months, it’s not a miracle drug, but it keeps the joint pain manageable and is easier on my stomach than sleeve or ibuprofen.
I have been on it a while prehaps 6 months i can tell a difference but i have to take a pill for my stomach with it.
I have been Meloxicam for a 6+ months or so. It does help me with inflammation/joint pain and it doesn’t upset my stomach as much as some of the other NSAIDS. Good luck!

Helped a bit just took a couple of weeks to feel effects. Hope it helps you#
My rheummy put me on that first thing…but after a few months switched to something else because it was making my heart palpatate.
Ive been on it over a year now. First 6 month a full tablet. Now im down to half. Don’t know if it works or not because I am on so many meds and they all started at the same time. Good luck
It took awhile to get into my system. It does decrease the joint pain...but not like a pain medication. I do notice when I forget to take it. Good Luck...hope you notice a difference.
Not a bit.
6 hours after taking it I was at the ER w a raging bladder infection. My urine had been tested at 10 am that morning and wad clear. Turns out in in that 10% of the population w that reaction.
I’ve tried it. I think it depends on what you need it for. My dr thought it would help my chest pain. However when I saw the cardiologist she changed me to ibuprofen. The ibuprofen was 10 times better for my chest pain/pericarditis.
I have been on this medication for several years now and it has helped me with no side effects. I hope it helps you.
I have been on this medication for about 6 months now for the pain I have in my chest and legs and it helps me tremendously. I have not had any side effects to this medication. Hopefully this will help, God Bless!
Thanks everyone! So far I haven’t noticed anything. I pushed my self really hard the past two days and am laid up. Lots of joint pain still hoping after a few days of rest I’ll feel better.
I have been on it for about a month, to help me get through the pain of physical therapy for a tendon tear in my shoulder. My rheumy and ortho agree that now that I have completed physical therapy, I need to taper off of it, because of the risk to my kidneys, as I also have Type 1 diabetes. For what it is worth, though, it has helped me a great deal. I am kind of worried about tapering off. :( I have had no negative affects from taking it thus far.
