Lupus Antibody Against Cancer?

A slew of interesting articles last week on studies of a Lupus antibody that fights (or, at least, holds down) cancer cells makes me think:

Can some good be derived out of Lupus after all?

Dont know about cancer, but i have often thought wouldnt it be wonderful to give aids patients some of our overly active antibodies, we have too many they have too little you would think that we could help them to be healthier nut I am not a doctor so I could be wrong

Hello Amando,

Great thread and link...the main possiblity linked with Lupus and cancer is Lymphoma...also known as cysts...i've had several operated on and come back negative for cancer.

I actually think by what i've read, there's good points been stated and people like myself who could be used as good guinea pigs regarding strong ANA'S besides DNA'S as that's the only way they'd know and find out besides making sure the bloods clean off any other diseases, could be a good trial testing basis for cancer/aids and any other disease in high in risk with cancer by feeding blood transfusion's from those with strong Lupus bloods.

Terri :)

Thanks for the input, Terri!

To further that line, a safer and perhaps more efficient way rather than full blood could be specific extracts -- the way erythropoetin and albumin are derived from blood serum.

Just thinking. :-)

Thanks Julie!

Why not? We live in times -- and situations -- where every possibility is not discounted. That's how great discoveries have been made: through creative thinking and open-mindedness!

Hello Amando,

I quite agree on what you've stated finding the strongest issue in the blood to fight a killing disease and the most active and injectioning even like have a b12 jab containing certain amounts.
