I was diagnosed Oct. of '13. I had been SO sick for the 2 years prior…but sick on and off for the last 45 years. As many of us feel, it’s a relief to finally get the diagnosis…just so we know. I’ve been praying for 5 years just to have 1 day where I feel 100%. Well, I’ve just had about 9 days at 85%…and do I feel wonderful. I feel on top of the moon and so giddy with joy! I wish you could all feel the same way. I’m not sure why…it may be that I’ve been staying out of the sun more than ever…making sure I use sunscreen 24/7…or the “wonder drug” has finally kicked in and is helping. I know this won’t last for ever but I’m savoring every moment I have feeling this way. I really appreciate little things more than ever.

My story is fairly similar to Steen/s story. I was diagnosed in 2012 after being not well for a long time. I had a doctor say to me - make a list of your pain history. So, I did and it seemed like every decade of my life something new and weird would happen, He was the doctor that ordered some tests and they were indicating that something was wrong so he sent me to a Rheumatologist. Then I got diagnosed. So after 2 years, I am feeling well. Like steen, I am very careful about the sun and I also cut out gluten and that has also made a HUGE difference.
