So very thankful for my internal meds. Doctor (PCP) I had been slowly decreasing my prednisone over a 9 month period. I hit 3mg. And I began feeling really sick and sleeping my whole day away. I went in and sure enough my labs showed a flare. He said my numbers were not super high but knowing me and my body there was no doubt a flare had hit. I am thankful he listens to me and does all he can to help me live as normal as possible. Even today I told him I’ve had a headache for 5 days and he gave me a shot of pain meds to try and get it under control. I don’t know what I’d do without a great doctor! Thanks to him I was able to do a photo shoot with friends and celebrate my birthday early this weekend! It was fun to get out and have a fun time even though I’ve been paying for it the past 4 days. It’s hard to say no. I just wanted to feel “normal”, so I pushed and had a great time! Lots of laughs and have great pictures to look back on!

That is so wonderful to hear having lupus is a great strain on THE SOICAL LIFE let alone the everyday norm so happy you had a great day you should post a picture to show us the Birthday girl if you want, HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY.
You are so fortunate to have a great doctor! I like mine but his "nurse" thinks she is guarding the bank! When I am sick, I cannot get thru her! Now what I do is go to my other doctor and then they call her!

Thanks all! I am very lucky to have gotten him since my first ER visit, he’s been my doc. Ever since. He knew without all the lab work I had lupus. Such a smart man! I’ll post pictures once my friend sends them. He hasn’t finished editing them yet.

Thanks! The 28th, planning to just go out with my friends and have a nice dinner! since it’s my brother’s wedding is the 26th I’ll be pretty exhausted! I truly feel spoiled with the doc. I have.
I went out 3 different times last week and now I am exhausted! I am going to a wedding on the 26th myself, so I need to conserve my energy this week.
