While I was waiting for my surgery and I while I was recuperating from it, I read a number of books about dealing with chronic illness (yes, I am still recuperating and still reading). One of the most interesting was written by Lisa Copen founder of Rest Ministries.The book is called Why I Can't I Make People Understand My Chronic Illness and What I Deal With? I found Lisa's answer both interesting and provocative. Has anyone else read this book? If so, what is your response to it?
