Dizziness

Since last week I've experienced 3 bouts of dizziness. One bout lasted all morning, however the other 2 were literally a second or two long. One was when I was laying down and the other when I was sitting up. I've never had dizzy spells that didn't accompany the flu or bad ear infection. The last couple of months (and now more frequently) I've been noticing that sometimes when I walk, the sole of my foot scapes against the ground. There have been times when I stumble because of this. Today it was my heal that scraped. Most of the other times its the inside of my foot.

What is going on here?? Is this all part of Lupus?

I would recommend you see your Dr as soon as you can. I was having vertigo spells and was sent to a neurologist. My MRI was clear and a new med helped them stop.

I also have vertigo has part of my auto immune SYNDROME of issues. I eventually saw a specialist for the vertigo, and realized there are several different types with different causes and treatments. This is the clinic I had all my testing done - it is a fine place to get information

Now I can sometimes recognize when I just have BPPV, and the treatment for that is readily available. The other types you just have to treat - but overall now I am less afraid of vertigo - it used to feel so scarey I didn't want to leave the house. After Dr Kaylie ran all the vertigo tests, he ran auto immune tests and then he sent me to the duke lupus clinic because of my test results.

Ask your dr about the foot dragging - my understanding is that can be casued by other auto immunes.
