I just got out of the hospital with a diagnosis og collengous colitis. It was awful I had sever pain and high fever. They also found inflammation in my large intestine. I also had two ulcers that were rubbed raw. I was placed on a synthetic steroid med used for people with Crohn’s disease. Has anyone experience this.? What meds work and what type of diet helped keep this from reoccurring? Could it be related to my lupus?
I have IBD and I avoid dairy, gluten and red meat! It seems to help me! I also take steroids for when the attacks come on! I hope this helps!
