Personally I would like for everyone with lupus to be cured.......
and CHOCOLATE , especially dark chocolate , is always nice !!!
I feel very BLESSED with what I already have in this life........I really can't think of anything else that I want or need.........God takes good care of me and provides for all my needs and a lot of my wants.
I am very BLESSED ...........

Merry Christmas to you SM Snowflake. Do you have snow down there yet? I already have my Christmas wish and it is a wonderful blessing. We will all be together for Christmas at our middle sons home in Ft Collins, Colorado! I am so excited as I have wanted to do this for years instead of him always traveling. I am grateful my flare is better and I pray that the dreaded edema won't return.

Your Christmas plans sound wonderful and it will be a blessing to have all your family together......and you will probably have a white Christmas out there in Colorado too !!! My nephew who is biochemical engineer and does medical research keeps telling me that for his generation( he is 30ish) they will have a cure and in my lifetime( mid 50's) we should have some great ways to control it. I already seen great improvements in my lifetime.
So i think we have great hope about not just lupus but all autoimmune diseases!
Oh...i live in N. CA and we did get very dry snow about week ago...so Colorado should be hit soon if not already. It was followed by extreme cold snap not getting above freezing for the high..but now we been hitting 51' again!! warm spell...soon as sun hides it gets very cold like normal wintery days.
Cindy, I hope you have lots of help for all the company on Christmas. How very awesome to have 4 generations together. Have a wonderful time and blessings to all of you.

Yes you are right.......we do have hope for a cure for all autoimmune diseases......my niece has crohns and she lives in Orlando Fl......she was telling me about a possible cure for crohns that was discovered there and they are starting the clinical trials .......so I keep hearing good news and hope for us all.............

Chritmas Eve we get Chinese takeout and Christmas day everyone brings their favorite appetizer. and it works out great we graze alol day, and I don't have to make a big dinner.

That is great that you do this Cindy. We have had soup for holidays....several bring a favorite soup and others bring appetizers and desserts. It is easy and no one person shares the burden. Did it this year with my hubbies family for thanksgiving and it was a huge hit. It just is nice to be together!

I shouldn't say GOOD. We have about 8 inches of snow with more to come.We didn't go to a Christmas party last night because of the storm. We have 18 in our immediate family and this year we decided to draw names for Christmas. It just gets too expensive. My daughter Lisa said its most imporant just to be together on the holidys.
We have a small house. Its wall to wall people. Its GREAT.
