Hi I posted pictures of Nicky's face. The rash is a little worse now than when the pictures were taken. It's also above her left eyebrow. There's a little above her right eyebrow as well. You can't see the rash above her eyes in the pictures I've posted. I can post more later. (looking for my usb cord for the phone! lol) Anyway, please take a look and let me know what you think ok? I've just looked at your daughter's pictures she's got the butterfly rash (malar rash) and that can stop on the cheeks and across the nose but can sometimes spread a little bit more.
Here's a picture of how it can spread...as some people's face can actually get covered with it also.

Your daughter is lovely!! Her 'rash' is very faint and I wouldn't want to diagnose lupus off of that- I wouldn't even consider it a butterfly mask. Some people just have a little color in their cheeks without any underlying illness This is one the doctor has to make a call on
From what I can see it just looks like she has a little color on her face. The pics may not be doing it justice so I certainly do not want to take away from your concerns. We all know there is nothing worse than the standard " you look fine". Does she have any symptoms or complaints???
Well i know we're all not doctor's to diagnose but from the pic's i saw of Nicky...to me personally i'd say a malar rash starting to expose itself plus they all come out at different level's of redness and marking's, some are severe like Julie's and mine definitely was and some are mild cases of showing it....which Nicky's looks at the moment and the outline is obvious to me but we all carry our own opinions.
Liz i'd either see Nicky's specialist or a Dermo to get this sorted and confirmed besides Nicky getting the proper treatment.

Julie mine hit me at 29 in my first rough marriage...i looked like a glown who'd had her cheeks burnt deep red with a line across the nose meeting them...my sister came from spain saw my mush and said christ what's happened to you, i won't even go into the verbal issue but like you i did'nt care walked about like it because i did'nt know what it was then but me having dark skin.... in the proper light with the cam...you can see the pigmentation scar it's left.

Hi liz12345, it does look like the butterfly rash . Make a appointment with the dermotoglist before putting any creams on her face , to make sure first . Hope everything get better for her ... Beverly L.
