Hi I’m new here, have had UCDT for ten years. New primary swears I have lupus new rhemy waiting for rest of current bloodwork. Anyway main question now is I have been suffering from hot burning bottom of feet and red tips of fingers with mottled skin with any kind of exertion Best guess rare disorder called erythomeglila which can be seen in lupus. I have all symptoms for years minus swelling. Wondering if anyone has experienced this.
Hello lambchop,
Regarding your question on hot burning bottom of feet and red tips of fingers with mottled skin..it can be a number of autoimmune diseases causing these issues but the main ones would be Raynauds and your Central nervous system plus regarding swelling that can be joints which happens such alot.
If you'd like to browse through this link from A-Z it covers all issues in the dermatology field.

Will do. Thanks so much.
The trouble is mate when there's so many autoimmune diseases going it's like a proper guessing game unless someone comes up identical with what you've had to give sound advice but in my opinion having Raynauds bad it sounds like that to me, as it interfers with our blood vessels besides our nerves.
If your under a specialist can you get in to see them at all. :)

What you describe on your feet is similar to what brought me to my diagnosis. Your hands sounds like Raynauld's possible. I haven't had a diagnosis on the raynauld's but I have enough symptoms to send me to follow up on that. After my hands get cold, and turn blue, white and red then my skin gets dry and mottled like you describe. I picked up some knitted gloves with the fingertips out so I can wear at work in the morning, thanks for the discussion : ) Trisha
Hi lambchop,
Trisha is right in thinking it maybe raynauds like myself being an A1 autoimmune disease it usually follows with other diseases.
Why don't you join the Raynauds group on the main page and take a view of discussion which have been added.

Actually it’s the opposite of rsybards. If u google erythromeglia it fits me perfectly minus the swelling. I don’t swell. Whatever it is. It all sucks. Red white blue. At least we are all very patriotic. I’m trying to find a hemotogist now. I don’t turn colors in cold. Warmth or standing brings in on.
Hello lambchop,
I've checked on erythromelalgia before and added it a while back to someone's discussion so i do apologise it's closely related to Raynauds also but you can get the two combined i hope you know and it becomes more complicated...your best bet is to see a Dermo who can take a proper look at you besides running bloods as my dermo found out quite abit with me.
Thuis links about "erythromelalgia" for yourself and other members to view.
