Just out of curiosity, are there any members who live in Manitoba, Canada? There's a Lupus organization in Winnipeg, but the support group is on Hiatus and I'd love to talk to someone in the area from time to time. This online support is soooo great, but a face-to-face would be nice too...
Hi … I am from Strathclair, Manitoba. I have had lupus for about 30 years.
I hope you two can get together...It's nice to visit with somebody that shares the unfortunate health conditions, and can empathize.
I also have suffered with Lupus for about 26 years, we have no support groups in our area. We used to, but they disband years ago, I still have a few friends from it, and this site has been a blessing.....I have several auto-immune disorders, so these sites have been a blessing, because I live in a very small town in FL, that's sort of on it's own.
