I quilt...I have made several cathedral window quilts, and quilted tote bags, throw pillows, and aprons......I just finished a "crazy quilt" quilt top because I have a lot of fabric scraps .....and I am just starting a "shades of purple" quilt consisting of grandma's fan blocks so far. I hope to actually quilt the tops this coming winter. I also do oil painting and acrylics painting........and I spend a lot of time on my front porch just watching the birds and butterflies, I have a small flower bed around my porch :)
the smokey mountains are awesome, cant wait to move there !!!!! we bought a four wheel drive just so we could get around this year, cant wait to try it out, got me a jeep ! my dogs love it too, been coming there to gatlinburg/away from all the tourist tho-if we come to town it is for the winery or to eat at smokey mnt brew put or the mountain lodge for breakfast. do you sell your quilts and art, if not you should if you can do all that stuff, that is great, maybe one day we can meet and you could teach me !!

the smoky mtns are awesome.....I can see the " mtns " from my kitchen window :) we like to go the back roads to the mtns too , to stay out of the tourist traffic....have you ever ate at the apple barn restaurant in sevierville ..we love the apple barn creamery with home made ice cream ( my favorite flavor is "smoky mtn. fudge" ) No I don't sell my quilts or art ... I have 3 children and 6 grand-children...so someone always claims them .... lol ..... the cathedral window quilt is very easy...I am sure you could learn that one quickly...it is kinda quilt as you go , no batting in it......maybe someday we will meet :)

I have been disabled for over 10 years, first because of a serious car accident and then all this happened on top of my other issues. I spend my time selling on EBAY. I watch for sales at stores and on-line where I can get items for cheap and then resell them on EBAY for a few dollars more. I print my own postage and package the items. Then the postman takes them to the post office for me. It gives me something to do and I make some extra money each month to help with bills (I live alone, so I am responsible for everything). If you think that is something you would be interested in doing, you can go into EBAY.com and they walk you right through it. If you need extra help I am here for you. Also, before you go out and buy items, look around your garage, cellar and the like to see if you have items that you no longer use, but someone else might want. That is how I started. Good luck.
