Walk a mile in my shoes, lets see if you can deal

Walk a mile in my shoes, dealing with pain from day to day

Doesn't mean I think my life is harder, I just have to live in a different way.

Walk a mile in my shoes before you utter your judgmental call

Walk a mile in my shoes, lets see you pick yourself back up after you fall.

My shoes are made for walking and striding purposefully through my day

Not to be looked at in a sad and simple way.

So when you see me walking miles in my shoes don't think it's easy at all

Just take a moment to realize each step is not easy and small.

Hello Michele,

I understand where you are coming from. All I have to live with now, are my dogs and horses. My husband had to move to town, 80 miles away, due to pressures from work.

I hope you will take the effort to start up a new topic here on the Life With Lupus site, so people like me can keep in online or email touch with you.
