A year and half ago I had to get a lump taken out of my side rib, I had a soft tissue mass that was growing. It took the lab over three weeks to discover it wasn’t cancer, but a autoimmune disorder.
Now, I am having problems with my fingers. At first it just started with tingle fingers when I touch something cold. Now it’s full blown into raynaud disease, which is very scary to me. I am an artist and my fingers are very important to me. I can’t imagine not painting, it helps me distress and yes, I sell my paintings too.
Is anyone else having this problem? I do know it’s autoimmune related.
I have had raynauds for years and years. It is definetly not fun but if you take good care of yourself it is manageable. Smoking is one of the worst things to do if you have it and stress can definetly make it worse. I know it’s hard to keep stress away but do your best. Lol. Make sure if you are in the cold to keep mittens on to keep them warm and if you are sitting for long periods of time move around a little to get your circulation going. I have been on different kinds of blood pressure medications to help too. I will even wear mittens when I’m driving in the car dead of summer with my air conditioner on. I get strange looks but that’s ok. Lol.
