Although Trisha as some friends backing her...it's down right disgusting and nobody should have to put up with that behaviour....i'm sure some adults never grow out of child hood because i worked before i took ill and some places are terrible for this behaviour...there should be a law in the work place for people being ill also it's classed as discrimination.

Terri is right your bosses shouldnt have let that go on! Shame on them
Thanks to you all for being supportive. And you won't believe this, but what goes around comes around quickly. One of them that started it, had 6 customer complaints against her and Quality dept is angry. Just a month ago, my supervisor yelled at me - and the next day his engine blew up. God does watch over me, I've never had any questions about that.
Bahhhh His engine blew up! Absolute Gold Trisha. I'm starting to believe more strongly each day that what goes around comes around. Hang in there kiddo. I hope the week ahead is rather lovely. Ciao Kaz xox
HUGS Trisha! God is taking care of you....and so are we! People can be so ignorant and they will get what is coming to them. I talk about my SLE to anyone and everyone who will listen....stare at me all you like and I'll fill you in.
My last two supervisors, before I had to retire, treated me horribly and I should have sued the hell out of them for the comments they made to me. Telling me that my illness was performance related and that I wasn't really sick and that "nobody wanted me in my condition" when I asked for a transfer to a different department.
Anyway, you are loved and supported no matter what!
Thanks for your encouragement! That is just horrible how your supervisors treated you. I strongly believe that what goes around, comes around. What's the saying about walk a mile in my shoes..... Good for you, for standing strong and telling people like it is if they stare. I have a new appreciation when I see someone in the store in a power chair, I have used one recently at the end of the day, I just couldn't take any more on my feet. And to stand and shop? No, way.
It takes alot of energy to stand up at work as one against the management. When I was well, I was protected under the whistle blower's act at one job, it still wasn't easy and I left as soon as I found another job. It takes alot to pursue it and sue the hell out of them. We just have to look at it - is it the right thing for us? You did the right thing for you, by not sueing them.
Love you!
Trisha

You also have the American with Disability Act on your side as well! Which the law suit can be either filed in federal Court or in County Court. Just something to think about!
I have laughed at this mate...see what happens through torturing other's.
"GOOD ONE"
Love Terri :)

You mates make me smile! I love this group so much! I don't know if it is the steroids or age or what....but, I refuse to put up with BS any longer. We will find a cure one day and I'll talk until my last breath! My favorite quote is "BITE ME" and I use it when I feel like cussing.

Seriously! We need to laugh our way though our fight. You should see me when I go out....I wear a green muumuu and have tattoos on my back. My hubby has finally gotten used to the new me! I tell him to BITE ME, too!
When people stare at me, I stare right back. I've gotten lots of positive comments about my green dress and colorful tattoos and hubby is finally coming around. He knows not to say anything negative about it.....OR ELSE!
Want to hear something interesting? I had to donate a pint of my own blood, before my total knee replacement in 2006, just in case they needed to use it during surgery. I went to my local blood donation center and did my duty. A few days later, I received a letter in the mail saying that I tested positive for HIV2! WTF???? This type of HIV is only gotten in parts of Africa and I've never been to Africa in my life and have no risk factors! My rheumo told me that it is a FALSE POSITIVE due to my SLE Lupus and not to worry. I'll also have other false positive tests from time to time.
The letter went to my orthopedic surgeon and he asked me about it while I was in the bed recovering from knee surgery! What a mess!
We do mate and you have made me laugh with your comments i can tell ya..what the heck is a green muumuu?...your on about your tattoes what about me got them on my arms and when i go out with ste and it nice i do get some looks with them showing and the skin head but you know what i say they can kiss my
....wow what a nice show of confidence. :)

It's total madness though when one person alone can make you feel that way and i've had to learn to bite my tongue on certain issues because ste often tells me it's not worth the agrow or stress but it's just so easy to let things fly off your tongue.
Love to you also Trisha xxx
