Pumpkin Pie

Hi Elyse!

WOW....I would love to try the goodies that you make! I am still craving pumpkin anything and haven't had it yet! Maybe I can talk my husband into taking me shopping tomorrow since I'm not much of a baker...LOL! My Memaw is 102 and she still makes homemade pies. We'll see her pumpkin pie at Thanksgiving, but that's a long way away!

I'm sure the pumpkin coffee will be awesome...you'll have to let me know. My husband loves Starbucks and I'm an iced tea drinker.

We are getting a cold front and it is finally FALL here in SE Texas.....WOO HOO!

Love and hugs,

Lori

Hi Lori,

This is my favorite time of year, also! Pumpkin pie???? YUM!!! I love pumpkin ANYTHING! I make pumpkin-swirl cheesecake for my family year-round. I even tried pumpkin ice cream this year. My next treat is a Pumpkin Latte from Starbucks. I've never had pumpkin coffee, and it sounds a bit odd to me...have you had it? Your Fall Friend, Elyse xxoo

Hi Terri....hope you're getting lots of rest right now. I was hoping to hear that you were feeling better now. Do you have medicine for the nausea? I take Emetrol and it is over the counter.

Love you,

Lori

Hello Lori,

I'm resting but the symptoms just seem to add it's causing a flare with my skin where a lumpy rash developes at night and i can't stop itching, yesterday my kidneys was off again and my urine really dark and lastnight my liver had the stabbing pains, so it's causing 2 flares with my skin and organs besides the flu symptoms it's one bad virus and Trisha said it bad where she is.

I don't have any medicine for nausea never precribed any and my GP will only give me stuff if a letter is sent direct from the hospital off a specialist.

Well thanks for letting me know about the Emetrol mate.

Love you loads Lori.xxxx

Bless your precious heart Terri.....wish I could be there to give you a gentle hug! I can't say I know how you feel because I don't get the rashes, except for my butterfly rash, and do not itch. What do you do when the pain is so bad? I feel awful for you!

My prayers for comfort and healing are always with you.......Love you, Lori

Trisha......hope you are feeling better.....I worry about you, too! Prayers for comfort and healing are always with you.....Much love always, Lori

Bless you also Lori, as your going through such alot yourself and i do feel for you with your strength and determination.

Lori the rashes drive me soft besides the small blisters i have on my ears which have scabbed..it's jus upsetting all my system in general and the butterfly rash i had that in my late 20s what a mess that was.

Lori all i can do is keep doing what i've always done since diagnosed taking the plaquenil and upto 4000mg of paracetamol daily but they do stone me out my head at times but my legs are a bad issue with me constant pain day in and out and when they swell i need to rest.

I know your thoughts are always with me dear friend and the same here Lori for yourself as your one special friend and lady.

(((A large hug Terri))) xxx

Lori

Thank you, that's so sweet for worrying about me. I had a bad day Saturday, I rested quite a bit and I'm feeling better thank you. Still fighting this cold/sinus thingy. But we were able to go to my family reunion yesterday on my dad's side. I haven't been there in 4 years - ever since my mom has been gone. I found another family member who has RA and they tested her for lupus as well, but she's negative on this. Seems the RA is on my Dad's side and I didn't know it, in addition to my mom's side. It was nice to get together, especially since my brother and sister don't live close, and we don't get together as much as we would like to anymore. My sister has lost 78 lbs with her gastric bypass surgery! I said my big sis is my little sis now lol.

God Bless you Lori, and I hope you are feeling better! Take care of yourself : ) Trisha

Hello Trisha,

Sorry to hear you've still got your cold and sinus trouble and hows your tommy doing besides with it?

I'm pleased your family reunion went nice and you found another family member with RA but although she ws tested and came in hegative it could have still been positive the way lupus plays with the blood.

Oh that's brill mate abut your sister and a large congratulations to her...i bet that alone as made her feel better because i findit terrible carrying weight i only had the issues years back and that was enough for me...disturbs your breathing, walking etc.

I hope your day is'nt to bad and take it steady mate.

Love Terri :) xxx

Awe Terri

I am so sorry you are still battling the current flare. I wish we lived closer so I could bring you some homemade chicken soup. It doesn't get rid of the Lupus but it is oddly comforting. I will put you on the prayer line so the whole church prays for your recovery.

Lots of Love

Julie
