When i started having headaches a year ago i was sent to a neurologist. After MRI and CT scan my neurologist diagnosed me with pseudotumor cerebri. After talking with my new Rheumatologist he informed me there has been a connection between this disease and lupus. I was so shocked. Has anyone here been diagnosed with this or am i the only one?
I was diagnosed with this last year. I started having numbness in my right foot and at one point couldn’t walk. They did an MRI and diagnosed me with this. I started to take Diamox and something else and eventually the feeling came back to my foot.
Good luck!
I was diagnosed in 1999 and was started on Diamox. In 2009 they had to put a VP Shunt in and it helped alot.
Oh wow!!! I have been having headaches every day, about 3 migranes a week, the rest are just really bad headaches. Constantly taking Excedrin Tension and Excedrin Migraine since those are the only two that really work. My doctor said that if the headaches persist to make an appointment with my neuro as well for an MRI. I have yet to do that though...
Yes. No bueno!!
I was diagnosed with pseudotumor cerebri 4 years ago, and received my lupus diagnosis 3 weeks ago.
