So in the space of an hour I went from fine to literally ever part of me hurting. Even my back which is a first. I must be coming down with something. I really cant cope with flare ups. Im on my own with a 3 year old ..its very hard :(
I think this was the worst flare to date..., my throat even hurt, felt swollen it felt huge, I couldn't get my breath so I panicked. I couldn't breath...thank god my mum was here at the time :(
I just hate having this disease. ...im only 21 :( I hate it!!!
Being unable to catch your breath is terribly frightening. I feel for you. Of course you know your body best, but is it possible you could be coming down with something else in addition to lupus? Obviously, lupus makes illness even more miserable than normal, but it surprised me when you said your throat was swollen and sore. When my daughter was little, she shared all kinds of evil bacteria with on a weekly basis.
Honey I know what you are going through I have been diagnosed with lupus for about six months and yes.it is very hard to deal with I get so tired of fighting this mess I have a Siamese cat his name is rascal when i want to give up rascal makes me want to live I also have asthma and diabetes and rheumatoid arthritis threre days I feel worthless please keep the faith and keep on keeping on honey have faith if I can do this so can you plw write later and let me know your doing
im ok today still sore but much better...I have another infected insect bite so im guessing its all tied in.., my body obviously had enough last night...was horrible xxxxx
I'm so sorry you had such a scary experience with not being able to breathe.....But as for not being able to deal with the Lupus, you need some help. You have the blessing of a child, a young one at that, and he/she needs you. If there's any info we can give you, ask. Good luck, and feel better.
Oh I am so sorry to hear that you are going through this so badly! I to am only 21 and I know how hard it can be! This disease is very hard at times. I still have my good and bad days, its hard to listen to your body and slow down when all you want to do is go and be normal. I really hope you start feeling better and can get some rest. Take care and I will be praying for you! :)
Glad to hear that you are feeling a bit better today, but so sorry that you had this "flare". My throat gets sore and thick when I am in a flare or even just having a worse then normal day. Praying the doctors can get you headed in the direction of feeling better. So thankful that your Mom was there for you. I am 41, and there are days with this whole lupus thing that sometimes Mom is the only person that brings the comfort I need, our age doesn't seem to matter. Hope you continue to feel better.
Dear kc93 I know its easy for me to say and hard for you to do but rest, rest, rest. I know having a three year old alone is hard enough, having Lupus makes it almost impossible. I wish I could reach through the internet and give you the biggest hug. Please take care of yourself. God Bless Julie
Hi! This happens alot for me also, usually I just lay down and Pray ! By the time it stop am asleep. Yes am with you totally , I hate Lupus lo!..Beverly L.
