Making a wish

Hello,

I promised that I would update with any new information. Thankfully, Make A Wish has contacted me and informed me that I qualify for a wish! Sadly, I did speak with Make A Wish before I was approved and they told me that my wish was not possible. :(

Its not like I wished for the stars, or the moon. I am simply wishing to be a nursing student at UofM. I do not have great chances of getting in, but only because my grades suffered from my illness. I have sent in my application for UofM Ann Arbor. I am hopeful that Make A Wish will be able to talk to the admissions office. If I was guaranteed a spot in the nursing program, I cannot even being to tell you how much motivation that would give me. I am stressed out at this moment because I do not know if I will get in. Not only that, but I also have heart issues (which none of the doctors can seem to find a legitimate cause for) and I am looking at a kidney biopsy in the very near future.

Also, I have to miss school for doctors appointments. Just this week I have to miss two days (today and Thursday) because of doctor appointments. Missing school puts a strain on me because of the assignments and information/lessons that I miss. So, as you can see, there is a lot of stress and pressure on me. I am really hopeful that Make A Wish can make my wish come true.

I will pray for your wish to come through! I always wanted to go to U of M. I grew up two blocks from The Big House, on Main Street. I eventually got accepted during my junior year at U of F, in Gainseville Fl. I am so proud of you wanting to complete school. Keep on trying and retake your SAT's. A good score on that will help your cause. GO BLUE!
