Lupus is like a three year old child

We get so busy with the hustle and bustle of our daily lives, trying to be everything to everyone. Best wife, best mother, best sister, best lover, best employee. Skipping lunch to finish that report, or eating that greasy chemical laden hamburger from the drive thru so we can get just one more errand run. Or staying up for the fourth night in a row to get the housework done wile our families sleep. Whatever the reason for it, your body like a three year old will only take the stress for so long without reacting. It might start off with the incessant whiny fatigue, when that doesnt get the reaction it wants it will escalate to nerve jarring shouts of skin rashes. When it still doesnt get what it needs, then it starts the hard punching joint pain. By then it is in full on tantrum mode and not inclined to listen to anything we have to say. Next is the face plant, kicking and screaming flare-up. Finally the piercing organ involving scream of a three year old having a tantrum that only total suppression can control. So with the holidays fast approaching, remember make sure your three year old gets plenty of nutritious food, naps, and quiet time. Sometime I think Lupus is like a three year old having a tantrum , sometimes

Julie,

I LOVE this post, its so,so true. In my case, Lupus is like a Boston Terrier (Terror) puppy - it goes where ever and when ever it wants to! : P

I hear that. I almost didnt post this because it really isnt a discussion just my thoughts so thank you for the support. Squeeze the furbabies for me :)

Julie,

You post away lol. You can always blog if you want to, to capture a thought. You never know what or where a discussion will end up, so don't hesitate. Something triggers an idea for someone else, everyone benefits : ) Love to you, Trisha

Hello Julie,

Brilliant discussion mate and it as made me laugh because everything you've described about what kicks off is correct and the age limit on it is ACE nice one mate.

God knows how i missed this but it just made me laugh...never looked at Lupus in this manner before and here's me thinking my staff was like a 3yrs old always wanting 24/7 attention and the poor thing as nothing on this lethal weapon.lol

Love Terri xxx
