my husband lost his job and lostour insurance . we tried medcaid but we make to much and i called several health companies for insurance but when i told them i have lupus they refused . how and where do you get insurance then.
I don't know what to tell you that will help. I am sorry you are in this situation. Insurance companies can't refuse you anymore for pre-existing conditions, that is the law. So I would keep trying and don't tell them up front what you have.

Have you try to use https://www.healthcare.gov/ ? No Insurance accept you from there?
The healthcare website healthcare.gov if you're making too much for medicaid and your state opted in for the medicaid expansion you should qualify for health insurance, they can not refuse to insure you its against the law. I've heard that humana is available and pretty good, also if you get it through obama care you might qualify for subsidy money to help pay the premiums. good luck to you
