How do you protect yourself from sunlight and other UV sources

After 45 years of practice, I am pretty good at protecting myself from sunlight and other sources of UV rays, like florescent lights. But I am interested in learning in how other people manage. How do you protect yourself from the sun? What is your favorite sun protection gear and where do you get it?

I have a routine that I follow every day of the year. Sunscreen, avoiding sunlight during the middle of the day, limiting my exposure to florescent lighting, and the light that comes through window glass. I also use protective clothing. I love my hats.

I dont. I cant right now. I am homeless and I have to stand in line in the bright sun to eat 3 times a day... Plus getting to those places is hard as well. I tryed sunblock, but in this heat I m just melting... so

I have an umbrella that I use. It keeps my skin from feeling like I am being burned by the direct sun, but it doesnt filter the UV rays out and my face still gets red. I will be fine here in a few month. I got a few irons in the fire and I am sure this all will be over in like 3 month or so...

Dang! Thank you for telling me this. Dont feel bad I need to know this stuff. I am sure though I will have my own place by then were I can just hide out and only go out at night. There is very few reasons I am going out of the house during the day. Just my drug study.... but thats only once a week and for like an hour...
