I always forget a hat, partly because I think I look boyish in them haha I don't even know if I own a hat, but maybe it's a good idea to buy one. I just walked one of my daughter's friends home a piddly 4 blocks and I feel so sick now =(
Jessie I hope you feel better....but the hat idea along with sunscreen seems to be an pretty good solution to the sun/heat. I'm looking forward to getting a few hats and personalizing them so that I feel good when I have to go out.
Well Jessie i hope you feel better once you've resting and Nu is right you do need an hat besides good protection otherwise. xxx

I would get one and wear it. Sorry that I dont join in on a lot of the discussions but I do read and take in what folks say. I dont have much to contribute…but appreciate what folks post. Does lupus have an official color sort of like what the various cancers do for ribbons? Then there is the red hat society… Would ours have a distinct color or a pattern of butterflies on it? I think it would be nice.

I'm working on getting the hat... I live way out in the middle of no where so shopping is not something that I really get to do.... There ARE a few hats in the house though, so I'm trying them on so I can participate. I think we should all participate in this fun and positive event!
Maybe we could make a "Hat Day" in the future. Or even a "summer hat" time, a "winter hat" time, a "spring hat" time and a "fall hat" time!
These things make me happy!

Well Ang, ste's working on the motor tomorrow...so i've just asked him to take the pic's now.... Both of my hats i wear are from a sports shop and & Nu.... i could'nt get bruno to participate he was more interesting in trying to lick me:) lol.
I like the idea of hat day, I'm looking forward to any and all suggestions when it comes to Hats for Lupus. I've been sitting here trying to figure out how to get it to catch on but I have to come up with something uniform. Anyway I'm glad to see the idea hasn't faded away.
