Giving back

Boy, im on a roll today, better watch out, my brain is spinning and i am able to express myself today, i am going from up to down. I posted this on the fibrolyalgia forum as well so i am going to share it with you.

a few days ago i was at a drive thru getting some breakfast, when i got to the window to pay the lady said the man in the truck in front of you paid for your breakfast, so now im thinking ok whats going on here (since i have lost faith in humanity lately)( i watch the news too much) i was wondering ok does this person know me, is he going to try and talk to me as i drive off, no, he wasnt because he was long gone and nowhere in sight, believe me i watched to make sure i wasnt being followed. when i asked the lady why he did that she said he told me to give back. i was so shocked, nobody has ever done anything like that for me. So i got to the entrance of my neighborhood there stood 2 homeless people with their dog and it was pouring down rain. Now this is the weird part, i live in a very very small town in alabama and we just dont have homeless people here but found out later they ride the trains from town to town so you just dont see them. I drove past them, went home, but just couldnt get it out of my head, i just had to do something so i got together some food, water, dog food, dog treats and 2 old raincoats, a few dollars and some change and dropped it off to them, they looked at me like i was crazy, but it made me feel really good and i dont think by the look on their faces they get that often. soooooo, give back to somebody when you can, it makes you feel so good (im am not patting myself on the back i am just telling you to give back and pass on the message cause it feels so good! this will make your day and i'll take all the good days i can get !!

thanks, kel

Love it!

Wonderful and sweet story! My husband always packs an extra bag lunch for school and he'll give it to a homeless person that he passes on his drive. I love helping people out, especially when they don't expect it. It's such an amazing feeling!

I've always believed that you get what you give. Good for you. Like Trisha, I love being a moderator, although there are times when I am not able to get on. It's wonderful to meet new people and hear there wonderful stories.

Awesome,

DeAnne
