I have been having ear infections for years over the last couple of months they have been horrible. My rheumy looked in my ear and saw a lot of scarring and spoke with my pcp I was sent to an ENT after the exam he surprised me by saying your Lupus and Fibro combined with your arthritis has affected you ears you have hearing loss in your right ear and I am sending you for further testing. I never thought of ears being affected so I am starting to research this so I found this and wanted to share.

thanku so much for posting that,i have been having alot of problems sence dec of last yr and my right ear has hurt alot,i had a spell of vertigo that lasted about 2 weeks,i never did find out anymore about it went to an ear spec.and he didnt see anything wrong,now i no why,i have found out more on hear in 2 days than i have in 13yrs.i am so glad my daughter found this group.god bless and hope thing go good for u.
