Does anyone else get tiny little, risen, white bumps all over

their arms or other places?

I am currently awaiting my test results but I am plagued by tiny little white bumps. They are not spots and they are not itchy.

Does anyone else have this or is it totally unconnected to lupus (SLE)

Thanks for taking time to answer.

Hello Ellie,

These spots your getting and your saying they're white...do thery actually look like small blisters?...as i suffer with blisters on my arms, hands and other places when they're ready to arise besides not always being small but large in size.

Hi Terri,

No they actually look like tiny hard white heads (except they're not). They don't itch and don't change. They're just there on top of a general red rash on my forearms.

Thanks for answering,

Ellie x

ps: people seem very quick to answer other people's questions but you are the only person to answer mine. Do you think it could be because I am new and haven't introduced myself or because they just don't have the same thing as me?? Ex

Hello Ellie,

Some member's don't answer if they're not sure and concerning myself there's not much i miss.lol...you could always introducwe yourself besides by adding a discussion on the main board.

Your rash is it like this if so it's called "Keratosis Pilaris (KP)"

They can come white/reddish look or even red and it's to do with Dermatology and also connected to Lupus and the rash does'nt itch or anything like you say.

This link explains the condition...just click on Keratosis Pilaris

Yeah, that's what it looks like but not so bad as that lady's arm and not so red. It's very strange.

Thank you for taking the time to answer my query and doing the research and adding links. much appreciated. Ex

Hi Ellie, When you asked your question, I almost replied immediately; however, after looking it up on the web, I realized there are many different types....meaning different things. So...thanks for posting the picture. I am not bothered with the same thing. It is good you are having it tested as there are often simple treatments which will clear it up. It is always hard when you don't know what is going on. Let us know the outcome of your results...we care.

Though our members care, I believe if they are not sure of what it is, they won't jump on to a discussion just to say something. The longer you are on, you'll be more comfortable with the way it works. And dear Terri is so knowlegable about so much...trust me if she knows anything you will hear from her. We are happy you are with us!

Hello Ellie,

Some are'nt so bad as that and some come large it's to the extent you have it...you do need to see a dermo and get it sorted out but it reads that it's not harmful but i can understand your outlook on it standing out.

Love Terri xxx

Faye my dear friend,

Thank you for the kind words my friend. :)
