DLE and hairloss

Update: I'm one full week in on the plaquenil and things are going great. My fingers have all almost completely cleared up and some of my patches on the scalp have new growth! One of the patches did scar, so hair will not come back there, but I can deal with that. I have not used the shampoo and I'm going to wait a bit and see how the meds go. I have also up'd my biotin intake to a total of 6000mcg per day, hence the new growth. I wish the hair on my legs would fall out...that would be hitting the jackpot!

Hello Treacy,

Thank you for updating we and i am so pleased your suited to the plaquenil and it's helping already, as with some people it takes longer.

Don't under estimate the patches on your head as i had bald patches on mine and some grew back my normal hair colour and the ones which took longer where i thought no growth would come came back with grey hair.

I do hope upping the biotin helps but you have made me laugh wishing the hair growth on your legs would drop out...if a good lot happened for alot of members (white flags would be going outside our homes) LOL.
