the last few weeks I have had the worst cramps, tightness numbing burning stiffness aching pain in both of my feet , so bad it has brought me to tears even while taking my pain meds morphine, and perkoset Mobic and the list goes on.. I am not dehydrated and get plenty of vitamins and minerals in my diet I was just wondering if anyone else has ever had this happen , I could not even move my feet last night I had to sleep with them wrapped in the heating pad this is one of the most bizarre symptoms I have had by far!!b if anyone has had this and knows a way to help please let me know I am the main provider in my home and do not have the luxury to stay home while in pain:(

I have the same issue. It could be inflammation or a sign of kidney issues. Let you Rheumy dr. Know. I hope u get better soon.

Hello well now I have Raynaud’s Syndrome so check and see if you have that with your Dr its vwlery common because it affects your feet hands and temp etc look it up online and read about it and yes I’ve had the same and sleep with a pillow between my knees and under my feet it helps

Hi I'm sorry you are going through this. I would definitely get checked out by a Pcp. It is not a new symptom for me. I've had pain in my feet since the lupus symptoms started. Before treatment I felt like I was walking on broken glass most mornings. Almost daily I wake up with pain my feet and sometimes ankles. The level of pain varies and is made worse by activity. I did too much this weekend and eventually could no longer stand. Kept feet up for half a day. I've found the issue worse during flares. What I try to do when I feel a flare is get rest and I minimize stress. I understand your not being able to take time off but think of it this way, if you don't take it easy it could possibly get worse. I've gotten so sick I've ended up in the hospital way too many times. I've learned to pace myself and pick my battles carefully. Listen to your body and see a doctor asap. I hope you find answers.

Heat helps, elevating it or even moving is almost impossible, this just recently started happening so I have not talked to my Dr yet, I try to pace myself, I went from having 2 jobs to 1, and knowing my limit helps but I can’t take off work even though I feel I need to some days, I have for children all under 7 years old , no one in my family seems to get it or understand , and at work itd even worse

Hi Lacie,

I understand your pain. Rheumy said that I have Raynauds with the Lupus which usually is not to bad, but this week it has been really humid here and my feet have been swollen and red every evening and have been so painful. Last night was the worst the pain and numbness and tingling went up into my legs. I had a terrible time sleeping!! Ugh! So thankful I don't work today. Could the humidity be what is making the pain and numbness and tingling worse? Sorry don't have any great advice cause I am new to this, but just wanted you to know you are not alone!!

I have numbness in my rite leg and rite foot. I also have cramping in my toes especially at night.my Potassium is low and Magnesium is low also. WHAT IS causing this
