I hope your feeling the same today but like we've said if it gets persistant don't mess about go to A&E and never mind what doctor's think, your the one suffering...if there's one thing i've learnt in 27yrs is don't stand for nonesense of doctor's, unless they have it they don't know.
Build up courage and knowledge where this condition is concerned as it will help you in many ways with dealing with doctor's and issues.

Update: my chest no longer hurts it only hurts every now and then... My doctors are I available untill Monday and it is Saturday today but I am coping fine so I can wait.... horrible two weeks... developed a cough that persist woke up saturday and couldnt breathe....went to take care clinic and they issued me some antibiotics....today 2 days later is even worst... took the day off to deal with it and they gave me some treatments for my lungs.... my only problem is no one says it related to the lupus but in all my years I have never had a cold like this...lol...feeling a bit better this evening
How you feeling now and regarding your lungs your GP should know if it's involved with your Lupus...if that pain persists besides the cough you need to get to emergency because like so many of we have stated where pleurisy and pneumonia is concerned you can't afford to mess about.
Do you have Bronchitis at all because this can come also with Lupus and if that kicks off also, it can become painful where the coughing is concerned as your straining your lungs.
Yes it was bronchitis woke up today after yesterday's treatment much better than any day so it helped..they actually want me back in for an evaluation today
She also gave me 5 day prednisone to help my lungs
It sounded like bronchitis to me having it myself, as it only takes damp air or to much heat to kick it off and if your lupus is very active that would'nt help either.
I would'nt be surprised if they don't do furthur lung tests...i was bad with a chest infection over a month back and the coughing went on for 3mths and 3 lots of antibiotics i had and in the end an x-ray was done and COPD Lund disease showed up besides my left lung is black scared from pleurisy.
