Carrollton, Texas needs excellent Rheumatologist

I need a new doctor to treat my auto-immune diseases. Yes that’s with an s…I have multiple issues. In addition to SLE, I have been diagnosed with mixed connective tissue disease, fibromyalgia, Raynauds, anxiety and panic attacks, asthma, high blood pressure and an ulcer. I want to go back to work, but I need a doctor that will work with my PCP to provide a continuum of care that will help me manage all this. If you know someone in my area (Dallas/Fort Worth), or if your doctor has an exemplary colleague in my area please inbox me.

Thanks,
<3

Hello Butterfly,

We have many Texans on the BF's Fibromyalgia site, so I posted asking for a referral for you, will surely let you know if I get a response!

Wishing you well,

SK

I'm not sure how close Palestine Texas is to you, but the Rheumatologist I see in Palestine is Dr. Hal Martens...Very thorough and explains everything going on as well as listens to what you are saying. I drive almost an hr. one way and its worth the drive. I looked it up , it says its about 2 hrs away. In any case whatever you decide....best of luck. It is very hard to find a dr. that you feel comfortable with.
