Hello Flower. I'm glad you have someone helping with the candida. Curious what kind of doctor treats you? It can be a real bugger especially if systemic. Keeping our digestive system balanced I feel is a life long process once candida kicks into overdrive. I hope you are able to get a handle on it quickly.
I had a HORRIBLE case of systemic candida. Probably from eating too much sugar combined with having SLE. Found a D.O. who gave me IV infusions of Diflucan (sp?) a strong anti-fungal. Then my liver enzymes were out of whack for awhile and I took large doses of Milk Thistle (AKA Sylimarin) which normalized the liver function. At my local health food store I pick up a "Yeast Defense" type product and take it three times a day every day. There are also over the counter (health food store) Candida Cleanse products. Good luck because it is, indeed a tough foe that nasty candida! LupanCatwoman

I will post my progress :) Thank you for all of your info on this important subject. My friend is a colonic's practitioner and has repeatedly suggested I be treated for candida. I did not listen to her, but now I am. I crave sugar a lot which is a sign of candida.
What symptoms did you see get better with treating candida ??
