In order to remain in remission and/or infrequent and brief flares, I must be scrupulous about UV protection outdoors and indoors. How about you?
I always feel better after dark. I do my errands then, see friends, go shopping and walk the dog. I'm sure my neighbors think I'm Vamipira. I sleep during the morning to noon. My skin doesn't tolerate the sun as well because it's damaged from steroids and AI diseases.
Never exactly had a flare from the sun, but I have enough reaction to UVA and UVB to steer clear. Thanks for asking the question.
You got to hold on!
I can’t stand the heat anymore. Over the past 10 years, I’ve become less and less able to tolerate anything over 80. I rarely get a reaction from UV since I avoid the higher temperatures all together. The biggest thing I’ve noticed when I’m out in the sun is how quickly I burn now. I’m a 15 minute burner now. That’s fairly new for me. Before I got sick, I was quite the sun lover. Now, all of my daily lotions and potions have an SPF.
Sounds like my skin.
UV(A) is radiated from the sun on cloudy, rainy or sunny days. It goes away at night when the sun goes down. There is some UV at night from the moon--very little. However, this is a big one, florescent lights give off UVB. I worked at a company that didn't have filters or covers on the lights. The constant exposure destroyed my skin.
My two pennies.

I found out the hard way that the lights they use at the nail salon cause me to flare and break out in a rash. I have a hard time shopping because I’m super sensitive to fluorescent lighting.
