Positive Ana and ssa

I wonder how long these symptoms brew inside of us before they really decide to show their ugly face.
I’ve only been able to conceive one child
Had boughts of vertigo and vomiting that comes on suddenly. My dr was perplexed.
My gyno believes I had a miscarriage around Christmas when I described to her what happened to me. (I won’t describe the details)
Drs could never really tell me why my knees hurt a lot.

Just curious…

Oh and missed you ladies but had a Fabulous vaca in the smokies last week!!!

Hi Christy! I know what you mean about how long has this stuff been brewing. I too was only able to have one child and I told my new gyno that I know I was pregnant two other times but just pregnant. I knew I was pregnant three days before my period was as even late with my daughter because I got immediate symptoms. And I did that two other times before I had the worst two periods of my life. That was twenty years ago so maybe lupus has been with me that long.

Take care,

Wendy xx

I was diagnoised & treated for lupus from age 13-22 but I’m basically a positive carrier of the Lupus Anticoagulant and don’t have enough “other” symptoms to be on medication for Lupus anymore. But, the positive blood test affects my clotting, & was/is a high risk factor for pregnancy miscarriages. So I was put on heparin shots throughout my pregnancy & I still take a aspirin daily. Also I cannot take any sort of estrogen, so any type of “bc” would be progesterone only. I had a high risk pregnancy as it was (twins) but I was blessed w/full term girls.

Hi, doctors are more or less guessing as they go!!! Sorry to say this but understand they study all the things we tell them and match them to what they really know then come back with their diagniosed, funny but true !! That does not mean to change doctors , but if it really sound like the doctor is unsure after being with him/her after a couple of months , well I would change doctors, wish you well…Beverly L.

Everything will work itself out, just relax and don’t stress yourself out!! Prayers go out to you…Beverly L.
