How A Doctor Cured Her Terminal Illness Using Food Alone

Before and after photos of Dr. Terry Wahls:

In 2003 Terry Wahls, M.D., was diagnosed with secondary progressive multiple sclerosis and soon became dependent upon a tilt-recline wheelchair. After developing and using the Wahls Protocol, she is now able to walk through the hospital and commute to work by bicycle. She now uses intensive directed nutrition in her primary care and traumatic brain injury clinics. Dr. Wahls is the lead scientist in a clinical trial testing her protocol in others with progressive MS.

In this inspiring presentation you'll discover:

- The foods she ate on a daily basis to cure her terminal illness (MS)
- What specific foods improve brian health and eye health
- The importance of Omega 3 fatty acids and wild fish and animal products
- Why we're deficient in iodine and why we need more sea vegetables in our diets

Thanks Ann! I totally believe in helping your body be as healthy as possible to help with any disease not really to cure it. I think being as healthy as you can can help someone if they take meds or helps our body fight something. Thanks for the link. I bought this video because there was sooooo much information I couldn't remember all of it or write it down. But that's my brain! :0)

This is a great documentary about the value of nutrition. And the website also contains some very interesting information. http://www.foodmatters.tv/

Sometimes they run specials where you can see the entire documentary at no cost. Right now you can see the first 40 minutes for free. The documentary FoodMatters is also available on Netflix.

Even if you do not believe that you can use food to cure your lupus and your other autoimmune illnesses, this is worth checking out.

I agree I see it as a challenge though that because it's a challenge it tests me to rise above it and find a way.One thing I found helps me is that I cut up things ahead of time and keep them in refidge so it's like fast food for days I just can't do much (this way there isn't any excuse). But I'm finding that having better Nutrition I have less days of that fog anymore which to me is way cool! :0)

That's great that you cut off Coke. I also haven't had any refined sugars in 4 years now. It took me going through detox from all flours and refined sugars but once it was overwith I'll never put that stuff in my body again. I don't want to go through it. Also my brain fog lifted a lot and once that's gone for the most part I don't want it back. So to me it's like a poisen I can have but why? I am using my foods as medicine and it amazes me that something so simple really makes a huge diffrence for me! I thought growing up that I ate healthy, learning about all this now I get it, and live it! I figure if we are good to our body it will be good to us and find it's true! :0)

It sounds like you have lot's of knowlege about nutrition, that's way cool! :0) Are you a Nutritionist? I've always (even more so now) interested in the make up of the body! :0)

I bought it too. It is one of the documentaries that I show in my nutrition workshops. I think that those of us with lupus fatigue sometimes find it difficult to come up with the energy to plan, shop for, and prepare nutritious meals. But then the poor nutrition feeds back into our fatigue, our pain, and our brain fog. It becomes impossible to tell how much of the symptom is coming for the disease and how much from poor nutrition. One of the reasons that I feel better at 65 than I did at 50 is because my nutrition is much better. I have not had a Coca Cola in two years. Nor have I given into the temptation to pull into BK, or McD, or Taco Bell. Yep, Food definitely matters. Thank you for the posting.
