Hello everyone
I was recently prescribed Lyrica for fibro and for pain/ sleep. I have severe generalized pain from fibro/ lupus and my doctors think this will help. i have a LONG HISTORY of terrible med side effects and am very wary of taking this. Can anyone help? Is it worth it? Does it actually work?

I have taken it and it was indicated for Fibro pain. My Rheumy told me that both Lyrica and Cymbalta are primarily used for Fibro pain. It did help me which helped my mental health as well.

This is a drug developed specifically for fibromyalgia and generally works wonders. As for side effects- most will fade away after a period of time and then you can enjoy the benefit of the medication.
