Introduction

Hi, my name is Ann A,

I am 68 years old. I have been living with autoimmune dx since I was 10, lupus dx at 21 (disoid and sle). I also have Hashimoto's. I write because it is my habit to do so - its how I think. Right now I am teaching one grad course that deals with nutrition (online), dealing with Cymbalta discontinuation syndrome, the pain from a big fall onto my back from a standing position in a chair -yes, you got that right - I stood up in a chair and fell backwards. That is added to the pain of differential leg length , and assorted other things that flare up when I take a giant fall or get stressed out otherwise.

Right now I am stressed because I have been looking for a new place to live and have all of these forms to fill out but the math in my head says that I am not going to qualify. So I decided to share a blog that I wrote when my head was in a better place. Things will get better for me, they always do.

I think you are correct. Things will definitely get better. We do not have control over what we go through but we have control over how we take it. As you look at the minute blessings that appear in front of us every minute, it keeps getting magnified and things change for the better.

Hang in there.

Take care,

Avanch

Yes Ann, things will get better. I will keep you in my prayers. You will qualify for that new home. Thank you for sharing with us, we appreciate you.

Minxie!
