In the hospital:(

So I couldn’t take another day of unbearable pain in my flank so jenn called me into the ER and after several hours, iV morphine,a CT and Xray I was admitted. … the head of internal disease spoke with me a bit. She putting my case with the head of rheumatology for tomorrow. She seemed very smart and I could tell she totally grasped what might be happening with me instead of a look of confusion lol. She said rheumatology at this hospital is excellent so feeling comfortable they understand my very complicated disease path. On a positive note the hospital is only a few minutes from my house and right across the street from dr jenns office yaay!

I'm glad you're going to get some help. Did they say what the flank pain might be? Keep us posted. Saying a prayer for you.

Sounds like you will finally get some good help! Keep us in the loop!

Prayers and hugs for you.

I’m so sorry to hear that you are in the hospital and in pain but I’m glad you are getting proper care! Feel better

Hi friends  night #2 in the hospital… so my shoulder xray showed a separation by my collar bone:/ im sure my labrum/rotator cuff is torn too… saw the rhuemy early this morning, she was very nice and was contacting my rhuemy at UM…Just saw the pulmanologist, haven’t seen orthopedic yet but he’s on the schedule too. Im pretty confident the flank pain is muscular skeletal, it totally feels like a torn ligament to me. Unfortunately I know all to well what that feels like… my left ear is started to flare so it’s not over yet:/

SO SORRY DAWNCELEST!! I know about multiple inflammations in a dozen areas at once. Hoping they can help in some way. I hope you're getting some anti-inflammatories and pain meds.

Best wishes!

Sheila
